New Construction

Building a new structure from the ground up is an exciting opportunity to bring your exact vision to life. At Construction Crafters, our New Construction service begins with a deep dive into your goals, site conditions, and budget.

We collaborate with you and your architect to refine floor plans, select materials, and ensure every square foot serves a purpose—whether that’s maximizing natural light, optimizing energy efficiency, or creating seamless indoor-outdoor living. Once plans are finalized, our team handles permitting, site preparation, and foundational work with precision. We coordinate subcontractors for excavation, concrete, framing, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) installations, maintaining strict quality controls and open communication at every phase.

Regular progress meetings and on-site walkthroughs keep you informed and ensure adjustments can be made swiftly if needed. The result is a brand-new residence or commercial building built to last. You’ll enjoy modern features—like high-performance insulation, smart-home wiring, and premium finishes—that not only meet today’s standards but also future-proof your investment. With turnkey project delivery, we hand you the keys on time and on budget, ready for you to move in or open your doors to customers.

Construction Crafters is a family-owned, CSLB-licensed general contractor serving San Diego and Southern California. We build, remodel, and restore residential and commercial property, and we run every project with the same priorities: do it to code, keep the site clean, communicate clearly, and hand it back right the first time.

Whether you are planning a custom build, an ADU, a kitchen, or a full remodel, you work with one accountable team from the first estimate through final inspection. That single line of responsibility is what keeps quality high and surprises low.

How we work

  • Site visit, scope, and an itemized, transparent estimate
  • Design, engineering, and full permit management
  • Licensed in-house and partner trades, coordinated on one schedule
  • Clean, protected job sites with regular progress updates
  • Inspections, punch list, and warranty-backed close-out

Our process, step by step

  1. Site visit and scope. We meet at your property, understand the goal, and define a scope that is buildable at your budget.
  2. Itemized estimate. You receive a transparent, line-item estimate with allowances spelled out, so you can compare and decide with real numbers.
  3. Design and permits. Where the project needs drawings and permits, we coordinate architecture, engineering, and city plan check as one package.
  4. Construction. Licensed in-house and partner trades work one coordinated schedule, with a clean, protected site and regular updates.
  5. Close-out and warranty. Inspections, punch list, and a warranty-backed handover close every project, large or small.

What does construction cost in San Diego?

It depends on the service: kitchens typically run $30,000 to $200,000, bathrooms $18,000 to $120,000, ADUs $110,000 to $450,000, and full remodels $100 to $500 per square foot. Each service page on this site lists detailed ranges, and every estimate we give is free and itemized.

How do I get an estimate?

Call (858) 257-7502 or use our contact page. We schedule a site visit, learn your goals, and return an itemized estimate so you can see exactly what is included.

How soon can you start?

Smaller projects can often start within a few weeks; permitted work starts as soon as the permit issues. We give you a realistic start window with the estimate, and we hold it.

Do you handle both small jobs and large builds?

We do, from focused remodels and repairs to ground-up construction. The same standards and communication apply at every size.

Do you offer warranties on your work?

Yes. Our workmanship is covered by warranty on top of the manufacturer warranties for materials and systems, and California adds statutory protections on structural work. If something is not right after handover, you call us and we make it right.

Do you work with HOAs?

Regularly. We prepare the documentation architectural committees ask for, match approved materials and colors, and schedule work within association rules so HOA approval does not stall your project.
